We provide economic analysis and strategic planning services to a wide range of clients. From the London Eye in the United Kingdom, the Hamilo Coast Resort in the Philippines to the Rose Center at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, United States, we work to pull ideas into focus and sharpen the boundaries of a preliminary plan or concept. Our professionals work primarily in real estate, public facilities, entertainment and leisure, and land use policy and planning. Our clients include private entities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.

The London Eye

The Economics practice at AECOM was retained to prepare initial forecasts of attendance projections for the London Eye, located on London’s South Bank. 

In addition to assessing the annual attendance potential, we examined the likely peak demand patterns and assessed the capacity constraints during peak periods. Since opening, the London Eye has proven to be an exceptionally popular attraction and has drawn greater than anticipated visitor numbers.
